On-Line Grant Proposals will be accepted starting April 1, 2016 and will close June 30, 2016

ELF Jazz Band Performing Spring Can Trip You Up the MostWelcome to the Easthampton Learning Foundation

Thank you for taking a moment to browse the Easthampton Learning Foundation’s website.

Our objective is quite simple.
We will work to build an endowment, with an initial goal of one million dollars, to provide grants from its earnings. 100% of the funds we raise will serve one purpose; to make possible innovative, hands-on learning programs which otherwise would not be funded by local school budgets. At no time is foundation money spent on maintenance, administrative or other normal costs associated with education in our local schools. The foundation is autonomous, and thus not subject to influence from any school, any municipal department or any civic group. A "blind" review by a volunteer panel is used to determine our mini-grants, called Learning Enhancement Grants. Applicants may include faculty, support services and staff. They are required to encompass some aspect of science, English, math, technology, social sciences or the arts in their proposal. Proposals must be for higher learning which otherwise would not be possible to provide for our local students.

We hope you will find this website informative, and consider supporting our learning foundation to better our community future by education and experience. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about and your help in supporting the Easthampton Learning Foundation!

“The benefits are as significant today as they were when we first launched ELF–providing educators & students the opportunity to benefit from programs that otherwise would not have been available.”
