Dear Community Members,
We are pleased to report that our financial position continues to grow. Our board feels strongly that growing our endowment to the $1,000,000 level is very achievable. Our cash position has grown, allowing us to place these funds in higher yield interest accounts. This is significant, as it will allow us to expand out our grant program.
Our major fund raiser each year has been the ELF Ball, thanks to the help of the event sponsors who under write the total cost of the event. The entire ticket and auction proceeds are placed into the endowment as a result of their support. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish to thank the community for the support we have received over the past several years, as we continue to try to have a positive impact on public education in Easthampton.
